Furness Training is now working in partnership with the National Wind Farm Training Centre and can offer a wide range of courses including working at height and confined spaces.

Based at the Furness College campus at Channelside, the National Wind Farm Training team provides training aimed at the wind industry, offering the individual all that is needed for a career in the wind industry as well as bespoke work task training.

Working at Height and Rescue Training - Wind Turbines
This course is fast becoming the industry standard for working at height on wind turbines and is the qualification needed to work at height on the turbines.

Advanced Rescue
This course is for those who have completed a two day 'Climbing and Rescue' course and the 1 day 'Confined Space' course. It is for those who wish to advance their rescue techniques beyond the basics.

Wind Turbine Mono-pile Confined Space Entry
This course introduces you to safe working processes when working in below the air tight hatch on an off shore wind turbine. 

Upgrade - TP Rescue and Evacuation
This course is for those who have completed a one day 'Transition Piece Climbing' course and wish to bolt on a rescue/evacuation element to it.
