ICT Workshops

These ICT workshops are aimed at those who want to fine-tone their skills in IT areas such as Pivot Tables, Mail Merge, Charts/Graphs and Database Queries.  There are also a series of sessions covering the difference between MS 2007 and 2010 for smooth upgrade in your organisation.  These are ideal for employees, students, home users and those with a general interest in ICT.

What qualification will I achieve?

Delegates will receive a college certificate of attendance demonstrating that they have received the relevant training.

How long is the course?

This is a four hour programme and is typically delivered in one afternoon or evening session.
 
How will I learn?

This course is based around demonstration and practical work to provide hands on experience.

What workshops are available?

Spice up Your PowerPoint
This 2-hour workshop demonstrates how to add animation, sounds, graphics, images and backgrounds to your presentation to keep your audience enthralled.

Pivot Tables Workshop
This workshop demonstrates efficient use of, and how to get the most out of, Excel Pivot Tables

Mail Merges Workshop
Workshop demonstrating how to merge letters with various data sources for speedy mailshot production.

Database Queries Workshop
Workshop demonstrating how to create and run queries in Access.

Charts and Graphs Workshop
Workshop demonstrating how to create charts and graphs in Excel.

MS 2010; The Changes (Excel or PowerPoint or Word or Access)
These short, two-hour programs which form part of our IT training suite highlight the main changes between MS 2007 and 2010 in Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint; ensuring a smooth upgrade.

Using the Internet Workshop
Workshop introducing new users to the online world of ordering and research.

How will I be assessed?
Through completion of practical exercises and tasks.

Are there any additional costs?
There are no additional costs, the quoted fee includes all relevant registration, exam fees and course book(s).
